Stroodles Pasta Straws Are In Singapore! 🇸🇬

Thu, Jul 08, 21

Stroodles have landed in Singapore! We are so excited to announce that multiple restaurants, and a cafe in Singapore have now started stroodling.

Being inspired by zero-waste chef Anne-Marie Bonneau’s quote “We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need millions of people doing it imperfectly”, and an understanding that if many people make small positive changes it will cause a ripple effect and therefore eventually lead to something much bigger, our main ambition with Stroodles is to inspire the world to make small positive changes, that will then contribute to making a big difference and create a positive ripple effect. This is why we are so happy that our Pasta Straws have landed in Singapore! We are spreading the Stroodles Movement across the globe, and are getting more of the world making positive changes with us, just one Stroodle at a time.

Crank ‘n’ Chain

Crank 'n’ Chain opened its doors in April 2020. Based on the wonderful island Sentosa, they are located at the unique Sentosa Cove / Quayside Isle. Surrounded by the Sentosa Cove Marina, their Bicycle Café offers wonderful Bali coffee, the best bicycle brands on the planet and the best service that you could ever expect for your bicycle!

For Crank 'n’ Chain, coffee is serious business! A cup of freshly roasted coffee beans done right by a barista will make a world of difference, especially if you have a long and challenging day in front of you. It’s the reason why they went to great length in finding the type of coffee beans that they like to drink, and serve to our customers. The coffee beans they use are from a micro-roasting plant from the wonderful Island of Bali (Indonesia).

We are so proud to say that Crank 'n’ Chain serve their iced coffees with our Stroodles Pasta Straws!

Spizza first opened its doors in Club Street in 2002 with the vision of offering affordable yet authentic wood-fired, thin crust pizzas and tasty Italian dishes to the discerning palates of Singaporeans. Their food are made in-house daily with the freshest ingredients and with utmost care and dedication.

Their pizzerias are designed with comfort in mind, and their friendly and welcoming professional staff further enhances your dining experience with their impeccable service. Their pizzerias are strategically located across Singapore and they only bake their pizzas upon order. As such, Spizza is able to provide island-wide delivery while maintaining the freshness of our pizzas, tasting just how they would in the pizzeria!

Their strong culinary team that manages the restaurant chain endeavours to offer a true Italian experience to the finest detail.

We are delighted to say that Spizza have started stroodling!

Getting these two amazing Singaporean establishments stroodling is such a huge milestone for Mr. Stroodles, in his quest of helping the environment by providing the best eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastic straws! Thank you to Crank’n’Chain and Spizza for making this happen - we are so happy that you believe in Stroodles and our mission, and that you’re helping us rid our oceans of harmful plastic straws, it really does mean a lot!

We are extremely excited for what the future of the Stroodles journey will bring, as we are now greatly equipped to welcome even more amazing milestones and continue adding to our list of customers from Singapore, as well as welcoming new customers from all over the world.
